Remote working during Covid-19 lockdown

In the beginning of March, Genos had decided to lock the office when the Romanian state firstly descaled a state of emergency because of the Covid-19 pandemic, but for us and our clients, in order to keep on the working this only meant that the office setup ( monitors, keyboards, test devices, chairs, etc). had to be delivered to those employees who requested additional equipment in order to work from home long term.

Such a decision and fast transition was possible due to what we and our clients already knew, which is that a well organised set up placed within the right environment is beneficial and it can have significant positive impact on the business.

Unfortunately in times like this an unproductive set up for remote working can be detrimental for companies.

Admiringly our clients didn’t face any difficulties because of the lockdown around the world, since their teams and offices in Bucharest were fully trained and equipped for full remote working. Happily for some of the employees, working remotely also means working anywhere in Romania.

In a recent analysis of the Remote Working Index, Bucharest ranks as the best city for remote working. https://lnkd.in/dg3PuQ9
